So here I am again in Canada! This place is still amazing, people are friendly and really open-minded. I love this country because of the individuals, as a country I think it can still evolve into something great. The diversity between people is amazing and they just hang out, without any issues. Other countries should learn from this, who to handle social issues. Also it is interesting to mention that most people that I met here are first generation Canadian, which means they have relatives in Europe, Asia or in some other region.

On the other hand it is very interesting that the city structure is between the European and American style. It has large suburbs where you need to use your car, but when you are in a real urban area you feel like you are in Europe.

As a European I can only imagine to live in the city, for me the suburbs look like waste of energy and time, even-though it might be cheaper or more spacious.

Smart Buildings - Summerschool TU Wien

So the two weeks long summerschool is over. It was GREAT! The lectures were pretty good, and also the project work was interesting. We heard about biomimetics, wood construction, economics, photovoltaics, heat pumps, and a lot of other things. Our project was to analyze the master plan of Seestadt Aspern which is a new project in Vienna. I am a bit sceptic about the project, but we will see how they develop it in the future.

On one day we went to Bratislava to see the technical university and two environmentally friendly buildings. It is sad we didn’t have time to see the city.

Beside the studying I met with a lot of interesting people. We went out almost every night and saw different places all the time.

All in all I am really glad that I decided to go to this summer university and I would recommend it to everyone. The experience you get here is amazing. I am missing it already.

So the summerschool about smart buildings started with watching the world cup final. Spain won the match, even though the whole match was a struggle.Apart from that the evening was great! I met with cool people. And we drunk a lot of beer.

The first day was also very great. The lectures were really interesting. I still love the idea about the renewable energy, and how this paradigm change can improve the life on Earth.

Also some things that I notice at the University is that the teachers are more open towards students. And the whole university is based on the fact that they want to educate people. This thing can be noticed in the events they organize like on this week the university is open for little kids who can get to see experiments and lectures. The university hopes that this event helps to attract kids to become scientist and engineers.

This should be also organized in Hungary.

This movie is great! Its story is at least as good as the first one’s was. Lot of action, great actors and a lot of fun.

I had only one issue with the movie, the dubbing. The Hungarian dub is awful, but it was my decision not to see it in Mom Park. I will go and see it again, but next time in English.

Go and see the movie. It is a nice beginning for the summer. For me it is 8.5/10.
